My entire working background has been spent in what I call ‘The supporting role’ which is exactly where I love to be – working on the details, organising things and helping people. I’ve always admired the Directors and CEO’s I’ve worked for; their leadership qualities, their fearlessness, their love of the limelight and their creative ideas, in fact the complete opposite of me! That, in my opinion, is the perfect recipe for a great business team!

In 2014 I decided to take myself out of my comfort zone and start up my own ‘supporting role’ business, bringing with me over 20 years’ administration, office management and PA experience from the Banking, Business Travel, Education, Health and the Arts world. I wanted the focus to be on giving my clients their time back, freeing them up to focus on their business and in turn make more money. Your Virtual Assistant was born!

I now work from my own fully equipped home office, providing regular remote support to Financial Advisers and Business Consultants and feel very grateful to do so – I love what I do. It’s a great feeling seeing clients businesses grow and very rewarding to know you have been a part of that.

When I’m not working with clients I enjoy my ‘supporting role’ at home – spending time with my partner Anthony and our cat Sue! Anthony and I are currently undertaking a long term makeover project on our home so most of our time is spent on that. I like to exercise regularly to balance out my love of good food and I’m also partial to the odd glass (or two) of bubbles!
